A silly question. Do I ask any other kind? That's NOT the question.

I submitted a story a couple days ago and no views yet. I'm not particularly worried, but have always had a least a couple views by now. What's the lonest anyone has ever gone without someone looking at their story?

See, told ya it was silly.

It's an old story, so I'm not feeling as antsy as I would be if it was a new one. I really need to do a story JUST for Lit already.

I haven't submitted anything recently, but I have seen system glitches that cause the views to show zero until they are suddenly posted. I imagine it's either that or Laurel and her crew have been away and unable to get to new submissions just yet.

Either way, I don't think it has anything to do with being ignored.

Good luck with your new story.

My most recent story took 6 days to post (it was submitted on Jan 2nd)

Mine was several days to post, too, and no views until the day before it went up.
Good luck!

Patience, grasshopper.

If that fails, try a glass of wine and hope for a view tomorrow.

If you want to experience being ignored, post poetry. I have 15 poems that have been posted around six months or more and have fewer than a thousand views each. Probably the most ignored story I have is an E/C story that has been posted almost four months and has 2,227 views. Most of them get that many in the first few hours.

Yeah, that was my attempt at humor and an oblique reference to Fatal Attraction.

Still no views. :)

Aha. Posted, having looked like nobody had ever laid eyes on it. ::Files away information.::

My newest went from zero views to posted. I assumed because it was so long it would have a healthy view count, but it remained at zero, so the odds favor your's having been looked at and the views not showing as lucky mentioned.

One thing that might be considered here. Thre are several Literotica contests that have just finished. I assume that Laurel and Manu are very busy right now and that things like reviewing submissions and updating views might be a wee bit behind.

Just a guess.

Yes, but they would have looked eventually. I think it was a counter glitch.

I prefer having views showing, even before something is posted. That way, I know it has been noted and the posting should be just a matter of time. When no views show, I wonder if it has somehow slipped through the cracks, aspecially after four or five days.

Yes. I was pretty much giving it until Monday before I tried to resubmit it. LOL, was surprised to see it posted.
