) I'm afraid we won't be able to make it before say ... Christmas at the earliest ... but if it's Halloween, then y'all have fun without us and we'll be there next year.

Well, 2 months is kinda short notice, but next year would be just as good if not better for me, as I'll be even closer then. (5th and final year of my proram is in Jackson, MS 2 hours closer)
and pre-Christmas is a wonderful time to be there... spent a weekend there a few years ago the first weekend in Dec and had a blast, not to mention all sorts of unique gifts for people.

so? I'm not a poor college student anymore ... I'm just poor.We have pets, and whatever they decide to get for us, they get for us ... and I can still be a brat and try to get more stuff from other people

Back to the topic once again (kinda) ... I'd love to get together with at least some of the people that we've met here on lit ... but because of finances, it will have to be either far in the future, or somewhere close ...
