it was decided that BDSM was a felony....and he had to face the possibility of 30+ yrs for it?

Would he seek the services of Lavy & Co. to defend him?..Or would he seek Todds favorite law firm?

Methinks a LIBERAL Law firm just might defend him...I doubt a Conservative one would...you know family values and all that.

What do you'll think?

This is purely Hypothetical btw.

Haha this is funny....

:p

Are there conservative criminal attorneys? I can't imagine a conservative lawyer giving OJ a big hug and then going home and feeling good about himself. Maybe you can.

Of course there are conservative criminal attorneys.

Otherwise there would be no conservative judges. Isn't it a law that all judges have to be attorneys?

Yes it is....but...Conservative Judges come from

:p

Sorry but I don't buy that all prosecutors are conservative and all defense attorneys are liberal.

That's like saying all teachers are liberal. Every group has to have some diversity.

You dont buy it eh?

:p

That is a good way to look at things

:p

Whoever said experience is the best teacher should have said experience is the most biased teacher.

But, it's how most of us learn most of the time.

You're right here, but for breaking with the prevailing orthodox beliefs around here we have to stone you (you understand of course ;)

Well if you must.

I'm sure your stones won't hurt any more than the daggers from my fellow teachers. I tend to disagree with their prevailing orthodox beliefs as well.

well lets just say that when I worked for the District Attorneys office I was told I was too liberal and should maybe think of working for the Public Defenders office since I worried about violating constitutional rights of people....
and when I worked at the Public Defenders office, I never once saw or heard anyone say or do anything conservative....

Interesting....but maybe that was just those 3-5 offices that I worked at and not all?
NAwwwwwwwwww

Hmmm, are you aware that Ga. congressman Bob Barr (fairly conservative label-guy I believe, and a former DA) and the ACLU have been working together on some privacy issues (relating to the net, I think, memory fails at the moment). What does that do to the label thing?

gives me a new label?

:p
