i do too... but i have mine set to let me know when i get them... a little box pops up telling me i have a message... it usually scares me cuz i'm not expecting it... but i do start laughing after

isn't there an option to track the message so you know when it has been opened by the other party?

you do have the ability to track the private messages to see when or if they have been viewed,,,

To follow your IM you can see if it has been read or not, use the Message tracking function in Control Panel.
