Actually none of the above. I am comfortably well off. I just want the economy unfettered so more can reach and attain what I have.

Greed is killing your capitalist sacred cow. If you love capitalism and despise socialism then make it work, cause it ain't right now (except for a very few).

Hard to get the people behind your system if all they see is their hard work making a few people obscenely wealthy while they get an "attaboy" pat on the back and maybe a 2% raise.

If industry is fettered it is because of shit like Enron and Love Canal. Don't matter to me because I know exactly what would transpire. If productivity and profits doubled all of it would go right into the pockets of the top dogs. As it always does.

Wasn't too long ago that industry was pretty much free to do as it pleased...lotta poor people during the depression too.

Actually I am trying to figure out just what it is that you have "attained". Is it things? I look forward to the day when I can be rid of most of this crap I have laying around. And be rid of this condo...biggest mistake of my life was buying it. It will be the last piece of property that I own.

If I have to tend to it then it owns me not the other way around.

Wealth is worry....you worry about maintaining it, increasing it, and even losing it.

But that is a philosophical/spiritual discussion.
