i went to one of those giant shoe stores today.

not for me, a friend needed to go.( i already own about 4000 pairs of shoes, some of them 40 years old and still in the box. i think there might be a federal mandate that says i'll be arrested if i buy another pair.)
so anyway, they had an entire section devoted to nothing but those ugly ass crocs. i have a pair, they're so old that i had to mail order them from the manufacturer. at the time i was going through a phase where everything around me had to be orange and you could buy orange crocs.
after seeing them in the store i came home and dug through the shit and dreck in my junk room until i found them. i only wore them a few times, mainly because the last time i did, some people stopped me on the street and wanted to talk about them. that's how long ago it was. i don't mind people staring at me like i'm a circus escapee but i hate it when strangers talk to me (especially about my clothing) so i haven't worn them since. i finally found them and those motherfuckers look brand new, except for the layer of dust on them. i put them in the bathtub and scrubbed them with a brush.

guess what i'm wearig tomorrow, with purple socks.
