I went into a gay bar….. so what?

Christmas eve, still at work, I went into a gay bar for a wee.
This should be nothing but for me it was quite a step.
I have avoided going into this bar for years. The bar is just a bar but I have known that entering would be an acceptance, subconsciously, of my need for gay company.
So it’s not the act but the acceptance that makes this a big deal. Let’s hope 23 will be the year I get my shit together.
