I was watching a movie on dvd and....

I hit pause so I could go to the bathroom. It got me thinking. What would I do if life had a pause button? But the question now is, what would you do with a life pause button?

I have this whole fantasy.

At work you would have a fast foward. While doing something you enjoy, you would have a frame by frame play. If you screw up or really, really enjoy something, you could rewind and do it all over again. If you are not sure how something's going to turn out, you can fast forward, then rewind...

It would be alot of fun to re-arrange people. Put someones hand there... and someone elses leg there... Then un-pause and watch the reactions.

Ok, lets see...

You're in a crowded department store, you stand waiting in line to buy the last stuffed Bugs Bunny in the store. The woman in front of you is complaining loudly about her husband to the lady she's with. The man behind you mutters something like, "yeah if I had a wife like you, I'd do the same thing."

PAUSE!

You pull the man behind you forward till he's just inches from the complaining woman, take his hand and plant it firmly on her ass. Then stepping back and admiring your work, you realize you forgot something important. You carefully pull the security guard that had been standing by the counter looking bored forward, till he's almost touching the first man. Taking the security guards foot you pull him forward till his knee is in the crotch of the first man. It looks like he's either rubbing the first mans inner thigh, or about to knee him in the groin.

You step back and...

Un-Pause...

Watch the fun begin.

I don't think I have a moment I would want to pause. At least, not lately. Actually, its been years since I had one. A moment that I truely sincerely wanted to pause and live in forever.
Otherwise, pause could be fun. I could use that to get my SO to....never mind.

I think a warranty is an excellent idea. It will break eventually...think of all the usage. Then you need to be able to trade it in for a newer model. As the years pass, these things will improve with added options and controls.
