Those of you who don't know me might consider this some sort of advertising, but the people that know me... I'm hoping you smile and say "Go Chelsea!" for me.

I've just been appointed as the third chair of a three-chair committee of Kinkfest, the Pacific NorthWest's PREMIER (I'm not even exaggerating) kink event.

This year we're actually tripling attendance, and renting an entire hotel instead of an adjoined conference center. Every staff member of the hotel is kink-friendly and every single room is ours.

It's going to be BIG. It already HAS been big, but this will be bigger.

I'm really excited, people. And I'm scared.

I feel like I've come so far from when I started chatting on this board years ago. I was a lurker FOUR years ago, for heavens sake! And now I'm hip-deep in a pool of my kink community. Actually, the Kinkfest hotel actually has a pool, so we could take that literally = )

Anyways folks, I hope you're all as well off and happy as I am.

But that doesn't get us anything like what you're talking about. Trust me...the mid-west is kinky. It really is. We just meet in dark back rooms that have secluded entrances and someone at the door asking for a password. No hotel parties likely, in the near OR distant future...damn it!
