I stock shelves at night for a supermarket. The average number of cases that we are expected to throw up on to the shelves each night is fifty an hour. Last night, between the hours of 3:30am and 6:00am I through somewhere around 250 cases of frate!

I call my boss when I get home today to remind him to ask about getting newyears eve off; not only is he not even TRYING to get me that day off, but he tells me that I was too slow last night. Two hours and thirty minutes to throw two hundred and fifty cases. That's one hundred cases an hour folks, twice the requirement. There are guys that have been doing this for twenty years that can't throw sixty cases an hour - I've only been doing this for a year and six months! FUCK HIM!

Oh, and while we are on the subject of how long I've been working for this company - do you know I haven't had a week off for the entire duration I've been with this company? There have been weeks when I've worked SIX days - Weeks where I have worked NINE DAYS IN A ROW just so one of my co-workers could have the days off they wanted? I THINK I'LL BE SICK FOR NEW YEARS - FUCK THEM ALL! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!

Sorry - had to blow a little steam. :p

A perfect example of a boss who does NOT know how to motivate what appears to be a good employee!

He would have gotten much further just saying "thank you for all your hard work tonight." It takes only a minute and it probably would have meant a lot to hear it.

*Nods* Yep. He would have kept the little bit of respect I had for him as well... but tonight - oh tonight, when the lights are down low, the customers have all left, and it's just me, him, and my two co-workers, I'll tell him just what a dickless cunt he is to his face.

And do you know what? There isn't a damn thing he can do about it; We're down a man already, and its been six month waiting for a replacement. I can just imagine him trying to run the show with TWO men down for the rest of the year...

No - He wouldn't do that! He's too alergic to work! He avoids it when ever he can... <grumble grumble>

Sorry for shooting off like this. I know its unseemly - its just that I need a place to let this all out.
