It's interesting how our opinions matter not. If we all suddenly turned on you, would you leave or stay? If we all suddenly decided to worship the ground you walked on, would you change?

People say that appearances don't mean anything. People say that it's the thought that counts. People say that the opinions of others don't matter. People say a lot of things they think are true. But are they really?

I think that everyone who comes here has a certain image they want to project and a certain way they want people to take them. This always changes as they either settle into the community or decide it's not for them. Once they settle, they tend to start showing multiple facets of themselves until they're a bit of everything from dick to sweetheart.

Those that show only one side of their personalities are only projecting an image, the way they want people to see them.

It was a copy of the kinkos logo same color and font but it said KINKY instead very funny.

I have this ancient T-shirt i got when I was on the pensacola naval base that has a couple of fighter jocks on it and fighters on it. It says appropriately arrogant above the image. I really want to make a t-shirt like that but saying appropriately kinky and then putting an image underneath that. Many of your av's would be great for it.

If everyone were to turn on me, than I would not only leave, but possibly take violent action against myself. People's opinions of me are very important to me, because ultimately they are the only real gauge I have as to what I am really like. I've spent so much time in my own head I don't know anymore.

I try to project being funny, either for my own wit or as a practical joke of just existing.

I might get flamed for this, but half the people that said none of the above are kidding themselves. I think we all need approval by others at some degree, otherwise why would we ask other peoples opinions.

At the end of the day though, none of it is important, it's how you see yourself that matters. I think most of the people on this board, consciously go for an image they are comfortable with, whilst thoughs that don't, couldn't give a shit about anyone or anything.

Personally, I want you to know I'm an honest guy who flirts a lot, enjoys making friends and takes good advice very seriously. I like to think I'm witty, but that's for you to decide, but most of all I like the back and forth chat that makes this board work.

Since that wasn't an option , I voted romantic. I want to be considered intellectual & witty, too, but I doubt if I stand out from the other smart people to the other patrons. I hope I come across as thoughtful & considerate of others, as well.

It matters a lot what everyone thinks, because there's more of me revealed here than in real life. Nobody can see into my past, or my future hopes, or my present worries in real life because I'm reserved.
