The Obama-led IRS has finally owned up to targeting politically conservative groups.

Of 426 groups targeted for extra scrutiny, 125 of those were conservative groups with "tea", "patriot", or "liberty" in their names. The other 325 groups were Liberal activist groups, some flagged for having some variation of "occupy" in their names.

Which means that the IRS was deliberately targeting groups from both the right AND the left to make sure that they were entitled to be tax exempt. They were doing what they're supposed to do. scrutinize people claiming to be tax exempt that may not be.

Those bastards.

How many groups actually were denied their status? TWO, both liberal groups.

I don't believe what you are saying. For one thing, I don't believe there were that many groups with the word "Occupy" in their names. For another thing, most such groups I have heard of were little more than gangs of vandals anyhow. Additionally, it is not necessary to have one of those three words in a name for the group with that name to be of a conservative mind.
