I think we need more movies with tap dancing!

I can remember a lot of dance sequences, but they're not all tap.

Who was the guy more recent though .... Gregory Hines. That's it. I just looked it up.

This 1984 movie, by modern standards, virtually whitewashed much of the hallowed Harlem-based Cotton Club's actual lore, rooted in African-American culture. Had it been made today, it'd be completely different. However, as a product of its time, it's still a classic and I like it. It's a Coppola joint, how could you not? :D The tap dance battle/reunion scene with brothers Gregory and Marcus Hines as Sandman and Clay Williams cements it and still holds up as one of the best on the big screen with no peer.
