Hello all.

My user name is Timewaitsfornone. My story is "To Hell and Back Again". The genre is fantasy/steampunk.

Just for reference, my writing experience is in traditional sci-fi/fantasy. Thus, I am inclined toward in-depth world-building and a slow burn toward some form of epic conclusion. By contrast, this is my first go at erotica. Just for fun, ya know?

Welp, it seems that my initial effort in erotica is rapidly developing into a similar novel-length format.

I am excited at the plot thats beginning to develop in my head and on my keyboard but my question to you folks with more experience in the erotica realm is this:

Am I out of my friggin tree? Is there viable interest in the world of erotic fiction for a multi-dimensional pirate crew fighting to prevent Ragnarok? Or am I chasing airplanes?

I don't know about the genre of your story but novel length stories are well received by most. I am just getting ready to submit my last chapter of a longer than novel length story that I broke up into 18 chapters. Most of the chapters have been well received, although I did have one vocal rebellion of how I treated a character.

Your first chapter was a reasonable three pages and the Sci Fi crew are appreciative readers. Not a huge category, but they like their stuff.

Absolutely, there's an audience. I haven't read your story yet, but the Literotica audience is very large and diverse, and if you look around you'll notice that there are plenty of long, epic sci fi/fantasy erotic stories. So you should find a home here.

I noticed your first chapter is 3 pages, which is a good length for a chapter. Stories tend to be scored higher if they are at least 3 pages in length.
