I am just 33 years old and somehow my hair is starting to turn gray. I don't just mean a few here and there like it has been but I am seriously going gray. Do I have to face the fact that I am growing old?

No - you just have to face the fact that you will look distinguished and supernaturally handsome fully twenty years before any of your buddies. :D

not at all.. its only a colour, and is multifactorial by nature in any case, not simply a factor of how "old" u are..

my SO went grey years ago.. its very attractive.. the 30 year old i'd screw where my horses are kept is going grey.. doenst stop me wanting to give him a good seeing too either.. not something u should worry about honey.. (and i'm 24 ;) )

NM xx

Same ol' peacock!! Hair ain't nothin to worry about.... snow on the roof, fire down below... LMFAO

If it's that important, get some of that man color... quite easy... wash in, darlin'...

33 and old!!!???
I think I'm gonna be sick................

I'm just getting started......... :D

You're not getting old (unless you feel old!).

I started greying in my mid-20s!!

(Thank goodness for L'oreal!) Now that I'm in my 50s, I let some of the grey "sneak" in so my color looks natural!

Enjoy the mature look!

I started with a few in my mid 20's too, but I'm swearing mine came from the kids and nothing else....

I agree with you Jenny, gotta love the Loreal company!

Could be from stress, but it certainly doesn't make ya old, hun.

I believe stress has a lot to do with it too!

I've noticed Oman has gotten a lot greyer since I've been here!;)

Get a grip mate - I was grey from the age of 16 !! Still got all my hair , but it's kinda lighter now ! :)

Maybe you need a bit of grey.... make ya look a bit more mature instead of that little boy face ya got!! :D

Have a good day, Studley!! :p

My dear man, at 33 you are still young! I don't even remember 33.

You really don't have to face growing old, but I think you'll prefer old to the alternative.

salt and pepper hair is sexy even on an old guy!:p

My Mom started getting gray hair when she was in high school! I'm just glad I didn't follow in her footsteps.

Although I have noticed a few sneaking in recently.

I wish I had only a "few" gray strands. Now I'm starting to count the brown ones.

CharlotteNCguy,

As you can see by all of the replies - having your hair turn gray is NOT a sign of aging. I've had some silver streaks in my hair for many years. I used to try to hide it by coloring it but one day I decided to just be myself...hair and all.

I get so many compliments from women asking me what color I use.

This is the time you must embrace what makes you different from everyone around you. Accept what you have and smile your way through it all - that's what makes a person beautiful.

It's what's inside that shines through...in a smile and in eyes that care. Just be you...and be proud of all that you are. And, this is what keeps you young at heart - all of the laughter and all of the smiles you give.
