I submitted a story 5 days ago but and it still says pending but at the bottom of the page it says I don't have any stories pending

Probably just a flitch in eth matrix. They happen. I don't know the underlying db architecture, but it seems that different data points get updated at different times. I'd suggest patience.

That’s an error somewhere. I’d not wait, I’d PM @Laurel right now and include that screenshot (which you might need to put on an image service as you can’t upload images to PMs).
