Nothing else in the world feels like skydiving. It's like your mind is going:

I've flown with an instructor and subsequently discovered that I can make myself airsick, but I want my pilot's license at some point. Congrats on soloing!

Some people do get airsick, but it passes when the training progressess. My instructor makes the unfortunate student clean the plane though.

I documented it all here.

I almost soloed the previous sunday, when we had temperatures above 100F. I had used a white shirt to the lesson, because it is the only thing that goes with that heat.

There was a very young man hanging around the school, and he asked me if I had soloed yet.

"Today maybe,"I said grinning. "It is too hot." Planes don't fly well when it is too hot.

His eyes locked on my shirt and he said, "Oh, at least it will dry quickly. "

I went to the car to look at some other shirts I had, but they were black. It is supposed to be winter still!
