Now, imagine I am a Republican activist.
I go into the GOP HQ and while Michael Steele shines my boots I talk with GOP moneymaster Haley Barbour and popular GOP firebrand Newt Gingrich about how the Fair Labor Standards Act is harming innovation in America.
I emphasize that word FAIR with a fucking SNARL that even makes their skin crawl. Because, as you know, fair is the enemy of America. The FLSA the once and future black. No, wait, I don't want Michael Steele fogging up my shoes as he's shining them so lemme reword that. The FLSA is the once and future Stalin. It is a relic of Communism. It puts the workers' interests above the compa-er, I mean the innovators and job makers of the world. Big talker Gingrich and moneymaster Barbour immediately invite me to their war room and we draft up a strategy to repeal the FLSA. We write up a bill and call it the Save American Jobs Act of 2012.
Then we go to Congress and talk to Speaker of the House John Boehner, who finishes up the master plan by hatching a scheme to refuse to accept ANY budget proposals until they pass the Save American Jobs Act of 2012 as PART of the budget proposal.
The bull-headed Republicans stay on target about this until the Democrats give in and the FLSA is repealed.
That's when you the sheeple get around to reading this

and you find out just how thoroughly you've just been screwed.
