There is a lot less moderators on this site. No Alexandraaah, no Miss Taken... I'm sure there are others that are missing. Where or why are all the moderators going? I know why Alexandraaah was booted from her job but the others....

Hm.

I can only speak for myself, Xelebes.

This decision was made some months ago.

I have lost much of the enthusiasm I once had for moderating and "leading" the forum. As apathy has settled in, I find myself more irritated at the prospect of being a moderator and frankly, have recently felt stifled by the title. I realize catalina and I don't agree on this, but I have felt that as a moderator I needed to conduct myself with a certain amount of decorum and as such, was not free to be blunt when I wanted to be or otherwise share opinions or sentiments.

Keeping this in mind, my role here hasn't been enjoyable for some time. As I have recommended to posters publicly and privately, when lit stops being fun, it is time to leave. However, I am not leaving lit, just the responsibilities of moderating.

What a long, strange trip it's been!

Speaking for myself: I'm very glad that you did give the time and thought and energy to moderating this board for as long as you did. Your contributions have been too many to list. I'm also glad you're not leaving Lit, but just passing the job on to someone else. :rose:

Sort of off-topic, are we gonna have a party when you hit 20,000 posts (30 to go as I write this)?

We can start with putting another sub on the barbie...:p Seriously, Miss T, I know it's not a fun job sometimes, but I was impressed with the way you've handled things lately. I know it wasn't easy.

I'm still here! Well, at Lit, anyway. It may seem like I don't do much moderating, but that's what the participants in GLBT Chatter want. I tried moderating with a heavier hand very early in the days of that section, and it was very quickly put down. So Queersetti and I just keep an eye on things and don't say much (as mods). :)
