... We all scream for Ice Cream.

Thanks to my granddaughter's limited reading a bility, I caught a show on PBS the other day about the history of ice cream. (The only two shows she could read in the TV Guide were Dateline and "An Ice Cream Show, but then she' only six. <G>)

Got me to thinking about ice cream, and how much I love Baskin Robbins' Cherries Jubilee ice cream. If I could banish every other flavor of ice cream, sherbet, frozen yougurt, sno-cones, et al; that's the one flavor that would be left.

So, If you could arrange for there to be only one flavor of ice cream, what would it be?

but I would say either:

phish food (ben and jerrys)
chocolate almond crunch (great midwestern ice cream company)
white mint chocolate chip (breyers)
or... um peppermint.. by any brand as long as it is artificially dyed pink and has those little candies in it.

Harold, I love Cherries Jubilee. Remember when it used to be called Burgundy Cherry? If Baskin Robbins would bring back their Espresso flavor, that's the one I'd choose.

However, if I was going to be selfish and banish all but MY favorite, I'd say any brand of strong coffee ice cream.

On the other hand, vanilla might be a good choice, because then I could just add stuff to make it flavored. But that might be considered cheating...

I always liked vanilla bean when it came to vanilla b/c of the little specs... made me feel like I was eating something fancy, don't know why...
