I said i would not, could not, No! not going to!

hey, congrats. if it's brand new you should do what we do in our family. you get a new truck and the first thing you do is to take you key and put a small scratch in the bed or wheel well and then it's not new any more so you're not as worried about it. ok, we're weird, i admit it.

2001???

Looks good which motor did you get?

I hope at least the 5.2.

No, unclej it has 17,900 miles on it, as well as a scratch or two.

and still cost a pile of money. As we hunt and fish and such should serve well. the sucker will "Get on down the road!"

Thanks! i traded in my old dodge 1989 D100 in on it because i could no longer trust it; Two transmission rebuilds in seventeen months=$2800.00 It was time for it to go.

Sorry Azwed!

My wife hijacked my computer in the middle of responding to your post. She having trouble with MSN messanger w/ win xp and our isp on her computer so of coarse i had to stop what i was doing and let her use mine.

One of our nieces signed on (eighteen and would give Todd a heart attack!) and they have had a hen party for the last two hours or so.

In answer to your question the "Black Beast" as i call it has a 318 ci magnum engine. Thats the smallest enigine i have ever had in a dodge. I had 340ci, 360ci ,383 ci, 426ci and a 440ci engine before. When i was younger i was known to street race a little.(weg)

The 318 is a good motor keep and eye on two things though.

Keep an eye on the coolant level. That particular motor design in the 1993 and up dodges, as well as the 360, tend to eat a lot of coolant. So watch the coolant level espesialy in the summer. I have heard a lot of different explanations on where it comes from but i usually see it coming from the back freezeplugs or coming out the exhaust.

So just keep an eye on those two parts.

Better then ford

Fucked Over Rebuilt Dodge.

Fix or Repair Daily.

First on recycle dump.

I'll agree with ya there!

Azwed

I agree with that!
With my old truck with the 318 ci engine some coolant would disappear a couple of times a year and i never did find out where it went.

The only thing that bothers me with this truck is the passing gear seems a bit much.
When it kicks in going up a steep hill on cruise control..SHIIIIT! It almost red lines the engine, But it will keep you alert.
