I roll my eyes in their general direction

What are you rolling your eyes at specifically?

*loads up the torpedo bays and powers up the shields and phaser banks*

I shant say.:D

However, I just might rollmy eyes at your totally geekiness for knowing and commenting on Phaser cannons.

Well then we'll just have to switch to Disruptors and Illegal Sub-Space Weaponry.

ah! That's better! I forgot to unsubscribe to my own thread.

.....set it adrift..........

bye bye.

Now, If one of you kind gentlemen would launch a plasma destructor in that direction, and Mr. Sulu, take us to warp factor 8 in the opposite direction. make it so...and all that rot!

The copier at work was limping along, no longer doing all the fancy tasks such as stapling and collating. There was a note on top about its maladies. When I tried to use the machine later that day, it was completely dark and wouldn't even come on. At the bottom of the note I wrote "It's dead, Jim."

All I can think of here is an episode of Frazier where Rozz walks into the room and the geeky guy that worked at the station says

"Set phasers to stunning."

Sigh. I wish I got cool lines like that. All I get here is "I love your eyes, wanna suck my cock?"

I can’t say much for this thread’s continuity.

THROBBS begins with a perfectly legible Monty Python quotation, and it quickly devolves into an exchange of Star Trek allusions and minutia.

Those are pretty awesome eyes you've got there, kitkat. :D

I'm not so crude to say that second thing. But I sure am going to think it. ;)

I always assumed Python was only a snake or a programming language - never some funny man's last name!

A group of funny men, it was the name of a group of comedians who had a funny show and made several funny movies. The ranks included John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, Terry Gillam, and Graham Chapman.

Their show was 'Monty Python's flying circus'

A few of their more popular movies included.

Monty Python's search for the Holy Grail
Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (my personal favorite)
Life of Brian

Why thank you, Ben.

Nice to know there are some gentlemen out there!
