Personally I don't think it will happen again. The teams are too close nowadays, it's not like the difference between say the Yankees/Braves and the Devil Rays/Expos.

Not a chance. Just as you said the teams are to close and in the NFL it is even harder due to the fact that there are no guaranteed contracts and there is a salary cap.
