A line of creams that can make your skin lighter or darker. Something about enzymes and melanin production.
Just think, first the book Black Like Me, and now the potential sequel, White like Me.

Would that option end the era of judging by skin color?

Just launch a plane in the air that will spray coloured paint on people.

Changing skin color didn' t seem to work for Michael Jackson.

They've actually had skin lighteners around for years.

I think it would take away the skin color aspect of it but there'd still be the 'black' features to contend with such as kinky hair, big ass lips and wide noses. Now, if they could make some enzyme stuff to change this - yep, problem would be solved. :p

Unfortunately, I think racism is more than skin tone deep, which sounds kind of odd, I realize, but listen to this story.

Recently the wife of a white supremacist in our area was giving birth to their child utilizing the services of a midwife at home. Apparently there were complications and they needed to bring his wife to the hospital for an emergency c-section. Before bringing her in, they called the hospital to make sure there was a white doctor on duty that could deliver the child. Once arriving at the hospital, the man demanded that only white hospital staffers touch and care for his wife and soon to be born child. The doctor on call took the nurses on duty, more than half of whom were african-american, into the room to confront this man and told him that it would not be possible to insure that no non-whites cared for his wife or child and if he had a problem with that he could find another hospital. Ultimately, the man kind of gave in, but only after saying that it would be okay as long as the african-american nurses wore gloves and did not kiss his baby.

It's a sad commentary on our society that this much hatred still exists in the world just because of a person's ethnicity.

But I like big-ass lips! Look how many women have thiers puffed up. Breath-rite strips so whitey can flatten and broaded his/her nose to sleep better at nihjt. And relaxers. Any woman can become a whole new ewe! Any man can turn dark and get a perm in the hope of cashing in on that size thing for singles night!

What a couple that would make!

The Indian part of me spends most of the day wanting to kick the ass of the Quaker part of me which just refuses to fight which really pisses off the Indian in me...

Way too much personal there, but I have talked about it before on another ancient post. Now the truly bored would dig it up.

Thank God not all Indians think like you. ;)

p.s. I think "dog" might be a good race for you to mix with.

Anyone here ever read Piers Anthony's "Race Against Time"? It is about a future world where we are all mixed, so completely we have lost out ethnic traces. The differences that make the world interesting, unique and fun. Except for a few, specially bred specimens. They are kept in special towns, unaware they are being kept. Anyways. The premise is that the world is trying to breed them... white to white... black to black... chinese to chinese... together to bring back the ethnic differences.
Of course they escape, find each other, fall in love outside their races, but ultimately......
well... you get the picture.
Has alot of interesting things to say about race and culture.
