What do I do now? I'd really like to track this shit down and kick his/her ass (or at LEAST spit in their coffe, when they're not looking!!!) This "person," & I use that word sparingly to describe scumbags like them, is infuriating me, I mean, what the FUCK was wrong with the story? would someone please tell me? It's the best one to date! Everyone, go read it now, please, and tell me, what the fuck is wrong w/ it? HUH?!!? "The Day Amber Met Melissa" by BBKradwell, is the culmination of all 7/seven of my stories!
Now, where do I go from here,
now that all of the children have grown up?
And, how do I spend my time,
knowing nobody gives a damn?!!!

bbkradwell...

Take a deep breath! Trust me when I say it is not worth getting your boxers or panties in a knot! It happens here. No one likes it, but like offline, there are assholes out there that seek pleasure in the damnest ways. OR maybe who ever read it, truly felt the story merited a 1.

In any event, take a breath, and try not to let it frazzle you.

Rant on brother! Power to the people who write!

Seriously, There are a bunch of us who have had the same feelings. I just recently had to rant myself. I found it a cleansing and helpful experience, but I promise to not do it too often :)

Now is the time to look yourself in the eye and say. "Life sucks!" and then go write some more.

For all we know the person is new to the voting and meant to give you the best score and thought that 1 was the top rating.

Don'y worry about it

I just wrote a story called "Truth or Dare." Now, idiotically, I said the twins in that story were different ages. Seems everyone that read that story picked up on it. Most people politely asked, "If their twins, how come their different ages?" One such person seemed to like the story, despite the fault, since they told me "keep up the good work." To you, I say, THANK YOU! However, I got some anonymous feedback from some jackass that decided since I made a mistake, which we all do,(maybe he thinks he's perfect,) I was a dumbass. Anyway, what I'm saying is that you can't let negative feeedback upset you. Some people that give you negative feedback will actually be nice about it, which is respectable. If you get some "person" that is rude about it, then, their the idiots, not you. Constuctive critism is suppose to be helpful, but some reader's seem to want to put down other's by writing REALLY harsh feedback. LET IT SLIDE, as Dido sings. Sorry, shameless plug.

I know I'm new here, but when you write something, and you write from the heart, you're opening yourself wide up for stupid people. As long as you (and your lady friends if they have read it) are happy with the story, then who cares what the others think.

My stories, while they are kinky (after all, what other kind of sex is there), will interest some, but not all of the people that come here. It doesn't bother me in the least because the people that I care about like my stories (my husband and my boyfriend). If anyone else likes them, it's just a bonus to me.

When I came to this site and submitted my stories (I now have 3 here), I promised myself that I would not let negative feedback bother me.

Honestly, when I got my first batch of negative feedback,(I recieved negative feedback first, actually,) I was PISSED!! However, when I look at that story now, I can see their point. As it was said, some people may actually not like your story that much. HOWEVER, I know what you mean. I wrote a story that recieved two 1 votes. Then, I recived two more votes that I calculated were 5's. Now that story has a rating of 3. Some people may just be VERY critical. I'm sure that some of these people are English majors, so it's their job to look carefully at mistakes. Just let it go.

Top Ten Reasons For 1 Votes

10. The voter thought your story sucked big time.

9. The voter was confused, thought 1 was good and 5 was bad.

8. The voter just pressed the little button, never gave a thought to the number under it.

7. You just didn't have enough sex with grandpa in your story so it just didn't do it for the voter.

6. The voter hated your title.

5. The voter hates your nick.

4. The voter caught your one little spelling error... BINGO!... downvote city.

3. The voter thought your male protagonist needed a bigger cock, by god, and you shoulda known that.

2. Same thing, female protagonist, tits.

1. The voter was so busy whacking off, they pushed the button that gave you a 1 but never even knew it.

:) We all get 1's, bbkradwell. Lots of 1's. Well, okay, SOME of us get lots of 1's. Welcome to the club.

(And nasty? Quit that shameless self-promotion or go do it in the Story and Poetry Fedback arena where it belongs!

I'm about ready to launch big time about story self-promotion in this forum, boys and girls: beware.)

Those are good reason. Sorry about the self-promotion on this forum. I just wrote my title along with the votes for it impulsively. It was shameless, now that I think of it.
