I'm currently working on getting my ECDL, or European Computer Driving License, which in reality is a piece of paper telling future employers that I'm good at computers. The ECDL consists of 7 parts;

  1. Windows
  2. Word
  3. Excel
  4. PowerPoint
  5. Access
  6. Basic IT
  7. Outlook Express
    [/list=1]

and today, I took the exams for Windows - got a 90% score, PowerPoint - got a 95% score, and Basic IT - 100% score!!!

There has been a lot of cake today...:)

Congratulations! :D

Like your new AV, too. Seems you're graduating in more than one area.

-FF (knew you'd do it, now all you have to do is start a swedish rival to microsoft, maybe call it svenskamjukvaror - actually I liked the english vision and irony from svenskablödigt, closer to what we think of microsoft, but I know any company you start would never be weak)

Congratulations, Svenska. Those are some very impressive results!

I lurve the new AV, the expression on your face really suits the costume.

All the instructor Abuse...

Was totally worth while. for you.

Congratulations! My Grandmother always said the blessing at Holiday dinners in Swedish. The only thing I remember of all that difficult tongue (!) is "svenskaflicka" and "svenskapoika". No, I never was able to memorize any part of the prayer in Swedish.

*huggies to all the nice people*

Life's looking brighter. I've passed 3 tests out of 7, and only have 4 more to go before I get my diploma. I've decided to do some hard studying these coming 2 weeks, to be able to pass the remaining tests by OCtober 21st. Then, when I have my ECDL, I'll have gotten all I want out of Kindergart... sorry, I mean, Computer School, and then I can move on to the computer course I found at the NTI-school, where I'll learn Flash, Sound Forge, Dreamweaver, Image Ready, networks, etc, etc. With the student loan I'll need to take, I'll have about $700 to live on/month, which is more or less what I have now, too, but this would be a state-financed loan, and not social security, and that will feel much better for my self esteem!

I just need to train a little more on the 4 remaining programs... which I'll do as soon as Alan falls asleep!;)
