There isn't really any more I can say. Some asshole has started a site that posts pictures of women who have gone to abortion clinics.

I am not prepared to get into the debate about the morality of abortion, but I don't think, for the most part, that the decision to have one is made lightly.

To plaster these women all over the web is terrible.

And unfortunately, the site was catapulted from obscurity today because of a feature article on the front page of the Wall Street Journal...

The site is called abortioncams.com. I provide this for information, but after reading Star's comment, I decided not to hotlink it.

For the newbies, here is a good thread we had over Pro-Life or Pro-Choice. We even managed to have a good discussion and all very civilized.

I'm not a lawyer, but my guess is that if someone takes your picture out in public it is fair game as long as it isn't used for advertising of some kind. People are in the paper all the time and I don't think they sign releases. Same for on TV news shows.

I think where it gets dicey is:

They are on public property (most clinics are private)
They are committing a crime (this is NOT illegal)
They are in custody.

I cannot recall any news footage or photo that didn't fall under one of those guidelines, and none of the photos on that site comply.

Secondly what kind of sick fuck puts that kind of stuff on the net?

Thirdly, I doubt my Uni would look kindly on having that address in my History folder, as if literotica.com wasn't bad enough
