This is being caused by wildfires; man-made smog is far more dangerous. Ask anyone from L.A. - or just ask a New Yorker about the smog emergency there in 1966.

I worked in Yosemite moons ago and Controlled Burns is now the norm.
Except for the California Department of Forestry and the Bozo of the Sierra Club and others.

13 of my fellow employees lost their homes in the Paradise Fire in 2021.
