My husband is driving me fucking crazy!! He's on leave for another week and a half. How do I deal with him? He hogs the computer for hours, and then when he grudgingly lets me use it, he constantly pops in the room and bugs me to get off the net. AARGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been on for about half an hour now, and he's already been in here. I swear I'm gonna pop him one!! Fuck, I hate it when he's on leave.

Bastard! I hate him already!

Anyone who gets in the way of my flirtation is on borrowed time.;)

Just start screaming "Soldier! The Platoon needs milk and Maxi-pads! There's supply depot at the strip mall two clicks away. You WILL take a team and secure those supplies! Move it out, Soldier! MOVE IT OUT! GO, GO, GO!"

LMAO at DCL! I think he'd commit me if I did that.

LMAO at the rest of you, too.

Laughter is the best Medicine for Humor in Uniform.

Readers Digest rocks I tell ya'.

Shove a fishing pole in his hands and kick his ass out the door. Always worked for me. Barring that, give him 50 bucks and tell him to go buy himself a stripper. Ugh, imagine getting in the way of the computer.

What's always worked for me, is tell him it's about time you guys got a second computer...for the children, mind you. Give him some catalogs and let him pick out what he wants, making sure to start at least one fight about the cost/effect ratio of AMD vs Pentium processors. Then pepper him with questions about mmx capabilities and memory requirements. If you're good you can do all of those without every looking away from the screen.
Either that or have one of the kids spill a big ole cherry slurpee on his motorcycle...
Good luck

A little hard on the children, isn't it? ;-)

Maybe we should have another war. He would be gone then and you would have the computer to yourself, maybe forever. Think about it

Tell me, Nogard, do you swat flies with a Louisville Slugger?

I think your response was a little overwrought. I don't think suggesting that war and the possible death of her husband was appropriate for a mild venting.

22 years in the military, when I was home it was the same thing. zigged when I should have zagged spent a year in the hospital. When I got out she was gone, best thing that ever happened to me. Before people say things they should think of the options. Might be worse than sharing the computer or anything else

Maybe he just wants to spend some time with you, He is on leave give him a little attention. Then maybe he will just leave you alone for a while. The 2 computers is a good idea though you see me and wizzie have that one laptop and a pc. Nothing to fight about then *just a thouht*

She lives with that option daily, Nogard, and I can't think that the fact she let off steam here, among her friends, means she should have it brought to her immediate attention.

We are all going to lose loved ones eventually; however, that doesn't stop us from feeling anger and exasperation towards them.

I'm sorry for your experience. I still think the response wasn't right.

Hmm...I could go attack Canada or something if you like. :D

Remind of the things HE shares with YOU and then mirror his behavior. Sooner or later he'll get it, I promise.

I like the two computers option. Then you could get him on Literotica, too. We need some more newbies around here.

a second computer is a great idea
i have one for webstff and one for games stuff and one for work stuff, its great then when something goes wrong i dont lose it all

Ah, you people! CreamyLady, don't fret, Nogard was just playing! My hubby's in airplane maintenance, and would be one of the last people to get hurt in a war. He just gets impatient because he can't understand why I come here. It doesn't interest him.

Now, for the rest of you. We have no children, so distraction of that kind doesn't work. We do have two computers now, but we're not ready to have them both up at once. He was simply impatient to go and do something. He gets restless 'cause he has a lot more energy than me.

toady, you have three computers?!? THREE?!?! For someone who pumps gas? Unless 2 of them are old 486's, I just don't see how that's possible.

I now realize April and her hubby do not have kids but I am married with two beautiful children who love daddy and would never spill anything on his motorcycle!! Not funny, I may have nightmares now! ;)

Did you smack him on the butt and say 'Shoo' yet? I tell you it works like a charm. ;)
Maybe he just wants sex..

Nah, I'll just put up with it for now. I've got a new thread! Check it out.

Thanks for the confidence in us to vent with us. You would only do that with folks that you trust. I am worried though, about him not being interested in Lit. A man not interested in sex? In the millitary? No wonder our moral is at a low point!
