I think there might be something wrong with the sound on my computer.

I can't hear certain sound clips on a site. Can anyone here tell me if they can hear the voice clip if I give them the link? I have to warn you, it's, ummm, a phone sex site.

What's going wrong for you Lilminx? Are you getting an error message? The sounds are .wav files, which are usually associated with Media Player...try right-clicking on the link, save the file to your hard drive and play it from there...

Zam, I just tried that and when I opened the file, it went to my MusicMatch Jukebox. Before I had MusicMatch, it went to my Windows Media Player and it still didn't work.

if you can hear some voices and not others is it possible that it's in stereo and you have one speaker out? just a thought.

Zam, I just tried that and when I opened the file, it went to my MusicMatch Jukebox. Before I had MusicMatch, it went to my Windows Media Player and it still didn't work.

Try re-associating the .wav file with Media Player.

To do this easily, select the file (highlight it), hold down the shift key, and right click on the file. Choose the option from the menu: "Open With", then scroll down and choose mplayer, or mplayer2 whichever you see.

Then these files should open again with Media Player.

I can only guess that Music Match doesn't handle .wav files as well as other formats, such as MP3, which I'm sure was a priority in the developer's mind. Most music is distributed as MP3.
