i need help

i have a computer with windows me or millienum edtion on it. i am in desprate need of a startup disk. I need it to restrat my computer and i didn't make one yet and it crashed. I need to get one. anyone that has windows me and wants to help please follow the instructions below:



Making a Startup Disk
To create a complete startup disk, carry out the following steps:

Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

Open Add/Remove Programs, and then click the Startup Disk tab.

Click Create Disk.

it requires one disk

Wouldn't it b faster to go to your local computer shop and get one there? I'm sure that almost any place that does computer repairs can make you a start-up disk for not much more than the cost of the disk.

Yup, I've done that, they didn't charge me anything.

A better solution might be to borrow a disk from someone that has a version of windows that doesn't suck ass.

Windows ME sucks big time. I'll stick with Win2k, thank you very much. It's bad enough I'm putting up with Gateway crap as it is. I can't imagine what it would be like with ME.

i have tried that but no one in my area has one computer store or otherwise. Nobody i live near or my freinds for that matter have one. so you see my problem.. i just need a little help. sheesh.. on disk is it so hard to do??? i need help and i cannot count how many times i help others and now i need help. i know windowme sucks but i need the disk in order to use my computer!!! SO PLEASE help me.. i am a very desprate person... please please help me......
