Ok, the MOST important thing to ask YOURSELF is AM I INTO THE LIFESTYLE!

If the answer is YES, then you have to ask "WHAT am I into?"

Just because someone SAYS you are a sub, does not MEAN you are a sub.

I am going to suggest that you read a few of the stories here on lit, then, see which ones pique your curiousity.

THEN you might get an idea of what you MAY be.

There are many who will tell you "THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO!" But in actuallity the main thing is to research.

Hope this helps just a bit.

i have read many of the stories and i myself an convinced i am.....not just sexually,i want my lifestyle to include it.

Make sure that this type of lifestyle is what you want and need and not because you've been told that you should be/are.
Do research, talk to other subs, go to munches so forth before plunging in; pretty much, be prepared and arm yourself with knowledge. Even if you decide that the BDSM lifestyle isn't for you, you at least learnt something and probably made a few friends, none of which are wastes of time.
And finally, go to the BDSM section of the forum (here or here ). Read the threads posted there. There are quite a bit of knowledgeable, intelligent and helpful people there who I am quite sure will answer any questions you may have.
And finally, like anything else in life, do this for yourself and not because you want to impress anyone.
Good luck!

And welcome to Lit, by the way.

A common misconception among those who are new to the lifestyle is that they have to do whatever anyone calling themselves a Dom tells them to do.

You have the same rights as anyone else. You get to choose what you want from life. Choose a new Dom wisely. Use the same precautions you'd use when meeting someone for the first time. Know what you want. Then go looking for it.

I'd suggest someone willing to go slow with you and help you explore this lifestyle. There's a lot there to enjoy or hate. Don't try to absorb it all in one day or week.

Good luck
