First come up with a topic... Visualize what the story is about, read erotic stories posted by others and read magazines while i don't suggest stealing anyone's ideas borrow from them. pick your two or three main characters the protaganist[ hero] the antagonist[hero's enemy or villain]
love interest [ whether male or female]. come up with a plot then the basic levels of a story are the rising action, the climax,the falling action, the denouemont [ the conclusion. if it's fiction let your imagination freely find scenarios until you find one to your liking. something i do is i go to the mall and sit for a period of time with a legal pad or notebook. i study people as they go by and try to imagine them in a story then write notes to that affect there's a plethora of ways to come up with a story

another thing you can do is bring up a conversation here in lit or in a coffee shop and go from there the rest is using your imagination and using sex words lol to ignite your sex feelings

One thing you might be affected by is that your own work doesn't do it for -you-. I have that problem. I know my story's flaws. I don't think anything I've posted on Lit is wank-worthy, much less erotic. Yet I receive feedback suggesting othwerwise, and the votes correlate, so I must be doing something right.

Kinda like cooking. Eating a dinner you've cooked is never as good as eating a dish someone else has prepared. Unless you share it with others.

Try your hand, read and learn from stories that follow the vision you see your story taking, and ask questions. We'll answer and help to edit once you've pounded a draft out.

well, when i started, i sucked as well... but hey, i think reading the stories here help a lot. you learn a lot about scening, character building (in the good ones) and most importantly what language to use... just be sure not to use your year 10 human biology book as inspiration

one of the first stories i wrote was one i 'borrowed' from an author here and re-wrote it to my liking. (its not published, dont worry...) so if you come across a story that you like, but thinks can get better, why not have a go at it ? (but ask the original author first if you intend to publish first...)
