I need help writing a story from her perspective.

I wish I could write it, but it comes out like a detailed report rather than a well written story. And I would really like to capture the heart of such a fun loving and spirited girl as she. Perhaps I can write the details I recall and you can edit it and put her female perspective to it? I'm looking for guidance.

Take a hint. Don't post pictures of real people. Don't say "I want to make a story about this person I know." Stories about famous people is a little nebulous, still, it's easier to write a story about a character that a famous person portrayed, than write it about the person themself.

Spare yourself the excessive court fees associated with libel and defamation of character.

Also, make sure you note the age of the high school slut as 'high school' implies under 18.

Write about what happened, when and where and with whom -- but most important, how it all felt-tasted-smelled-looked to YOU, and how your mind and emotions reacted, your thoughts-hopes-fears-joys. A history text only records events. A narrative journal follows you along your path of discovery and adventure. You can do it.

Advice: Change names, dates and places to protect the guilty (and yourself, as noted above). If you want to write it from her perspective, have her dictate her recollections and feelings. Add those notes to your narrative. That way, it's a collaborative project that truly captures her voice.

Assuming that you still want this in the first person and in the woman's voice...

Once you get the ordered account of what happened completed, make sure that everything is at least somewhat plausible.

Then go back and rewrite every paragraph using the words and phrases that the woman in the story would use to tell about this.

I used that process for this story and it worked pretty well.

Getting closer

This may take longer than I thought but I'm getting some great advice. I don'treally want the sstory in her voice but I want to try to honestly capture her thoughts and feelings as we moved through this relationship together. Plausibility is not a problem since I am only talking about events that really happened. She gave me a LOT to work with so I don't have to invent ideas, just capture feelings and emotions etc. We're talking a 20 yr relationship, so writing this may take a while.
