I need help helping an author

I am a new volunteer editor, and an author has asked me where he can check the status of some stories that he has submitted. He submitted them over a week ago and would just like to know how to check on them. If anyone can help, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

Tell him to log in on the main site.

At the top it will say "You are logged in as XXXXX

The XXXXX is a hotlink. Click on it and you're at the User Control Panel.

Click on Submissions

One of the choices is View Current Submissions

It will have information there on the status of submitted and pending stories.

A word of warning: don't click on any Pending story as it puts it to the back of the queue.

If he just wants to see if it's gone live, the easiest way is to go to

search.literotica.com

Then click on the members tab and type in his own user name. He'll get a list of all stories that are available to read. If it hasn't gone live yet, he'll have to check the status in his control panel. Click on submissions. See if it says pending. It may say rejected (I had one do that for not being clear on the age of a character). If it says that or something like that, it will say why.
