Hello. I need an idea of first sudden meeting of an orthodox Indian woman travelling to the USA with a black man. What comes in my mind is its night and she is just having a walk to her hotel after a hectic training day. She just decides to take a walk. It’s a winter night with a full moon, she walks over the dry leafs, and her long heels left crispy cries of those leave and countless start above her head follow her. There I expect her to meet a charming black man, but I want it to be little dramatic, fresh and captivating idea, that may propel the story ahead.
Please do write me, if any of creative writer or reader wish to help me in cracking this. Thanks.
You can email also me, at tamillday@gmail.com (But no chat messages please).

It sounds like you already have the idea. But you can't put your email address in a post, it's against the rules.

She's at a hotel, eh? How about a hotel mix-up: she and the man both get assigned to the same room. Of course it is easily fixed: they just go to the front desk and each get their own rooms. But by now they've met each other and had a good laugh.

The beginning sounds a bit cheesy. She is orthodox Indian in a new country. Slightly racist towards black people as most Indians are. She is buying coffee when she bumps into a burly black man almost spilling her coffee. She has a recoiling racist reaction and he thinks "racism is alive and well."

Later on she is returning to her hotel but she has to walk through a park. A few young men begin to harrass her. She tries to walk away but they block her path. Toying with her. She tries to speak sternly but one of them grabs her arm as she is waving her finger.

She becomes feartul when the black man turns up and chases the young lads away. He then notices who it is and there is an immediate tension due to the racist incident earlier.

They walk in silence as she goes back to hotel and then he disappears. She can't stop thinking about him and feels the need to thank him. She returns to the coffee shop everyday for the week hoping to meet him again.

This is actually a good start - overcoming prejudice and finding it replaced with desire.

Another is that she is there visiting her son who is in university - living in a dorm, she has to stay at a nearby hotel. For sometime her son had told her about his new best friend at college. Given the son has a major exam, he arranges for his friend to pick her up from the hotel and give her a short tour until he is free. She walks right past him in the lobby though he tried to speak to her. It can't be him, she thinks. The day starts with the racial tension but eases as she warms up to him and starts to see what a strapping young man he is. When the son calls and says he can't meet for dinner due to an emergency in the lab he is working in, the friend steps in and somehow she finds herself flirting with him now...
