I already tried the volunteer editors program. I did a search for editors willing to edit my particular genre. I ended up sending editor requests to 6 different people.
Four of them never replied.
One replied and said they didn't do editing anymore.
One replied and did a fantastic job of editing the first chapter of my story. However, I can't seem to get in touch with that person for the second chapter.

I'm looking for someone to edit the second chapter of the story. Right now it is in ".doc" format, but I can change it to txt, html, or rtf if you so desire.
I'm mainly looking for grammar and spelling help. Any comments about the plot or the characters would be great also.
