Because all I seem to find are immature girls who spend more time talking about other people in a negative fashion then about themselves or their friends. I have almost a craving (perhaps a desire?) to simply converse with a mature and well spoken lady.

So many unanswered questions. I think I've figured out the '100 pairs of shoes' thing by myself, however.

Pretty smiles and being secretly perverted are great, but it's that witty, intelligent lady that gets me going. I know you are out there, I just can't find any of you near by, down under. I also enjoy talking to people from other cultures, so if you're north of the equator feel free to ask a question or two. Perhaps about how a kangaroo presents a far greater danger to most of us than a crocodile?

Perhaps if you stop looking, the right person might just come along.

Good luck.

lol ok how does a kangaroo present a greater danger than a crocodile? That's a interesting question.

First step is realizing you may have been looking in the wrong places. ;)

I tend to run into people all of the time doing everyday things. Randomly said hello to someone in a queue today and got the reply 'what do you want?'. The poor guy looked like he was going to break down and cry at one stage. It's hard to talk with people when society presumes that when you initiate a conversation, you want something from them.

Oh the kangaroo thing. Down here these things get hit by cars all of the time. You simply cannot avoid them and the chances of having a serious car accident are quite high if you make contact. No Aussie is stupid enough to go near the water, where they know crocodiles exist (although tourists are a different story). I wouldn't go try to pat any of the larger kangaroo's though.

Now Koala's, damn. They don't call them Koala bears for nothing.
