I miss daylight, sometimes.

I stayed up till 7:30 this morning. I slept most of the day, but I did wake up to go pee a couple of times, and it was so beautiful and sunny outside. I didn't give a fuck, and I got back into my comfy bed.

Now that it's 5:44, and the sun is gone, I'm feeling a bit sorry that I didn't at least open the door and poke my head outside.

It's not a huge regret, by any means, but maybe tomorrow I'll go outside during the sunny part of the day.

outside?

is that where the bright evil shiney thing in the sky is?

evil i tells ya... its pure evil.

If i went out in it, i might run the risk of actually changing colour from pastey white :)

there have been clinical studies done that prove people can become depressed during daylight savings

Tell me about it! I might be living proof, except that I'm pretty happy these days, in general. That might be circumstantial.

I do feel pretty lethargic, though. I keep telling myself that I need to get back to the gym, but it's hard for me to drag my ass out when it comes right down to it.

How do you get back into the habit of working out? It always makes me feel better, if I can just do it.

Any advice, scotty?

solution

The solution is easy, retire and move to Florida!!!

Wish I had thought of that... then of course I did and so here I am.

This would be my ideal day.

It has been the ideal day. I slept in all warm and cozy, and now I'm cutting out paper snowflakes. Life is good.

The sun is way too vivid.

:D

I work on the night shift, so in the winter I may not see the full light of day for months on end.

Last spring, I remember going on vacation and seeing the sun at noon for the first time in several months. The sun was like the hand of God--powerful and overwhelming.

Yep. I miss daylight, too, sometimes.

what type of routine are you trying to get back into

I was doing 45 minutes to an hour of cardio 5 days a week, combined with prolly a half hour of stretching after. Weights 3 times a week, just light stuff. Dancing for about an hour a few times a week.

I know if I can just get to the gym I can get back into it. I'm having a hard time prioritizing right now. Sleep appeals so much more. I know, though, that an increase in energy will correlate directly with my return to working out. It's just hard to take that first step.

I need someone to make me do it, plain and simple.

sounds like you know what to do the reality of following yoru workout program is that there is no one who can make you do it except yourself the hardest step is the first step if youre not ready to hit the gym enjoy a walk outside maybe even in the daylight

I don't miss daylight at all. I'm used to walking around in the dark.:)
