...and he was pretty nice. Plus, he told my coworker that I was "gorgeous"! :) Yeah, so what, celebrities are just people too... But since I'm sure he hangs out with many beautiful ladies, it felt good in a giggly-schoolgirl way to get complimented.

I LOVE him! I think he's great in just about everything he's done.... I think he's really cute, because of his personality. Not the type of guy I find attractive though....

Here's a pic in case anyone was wondering who he is...

And........ Congrats Killi!!!! Even though it's not supposed to be a big thing to meet a celebrity, I understand what you mean... Just a couple weeks ago, I was standing right next to MC Hammer. I got all giggly about it too! :p

*Ok, well.. it won't let me attach the pic... I'll try in another post :( *

Well, you are lovely! Isn't it fun to meet celebrities? I'm closely related to a famous actress and I got to meet her celebrity husband. I pretty much fell all over myself.

That is so cool! I think he is hilarious and always seems super nice on any talk shows I ever see him on. Plus, he is cute. :)

:cathappy: He obviously has good taste, but then that does not surprise me. My similar brush was when I was in my late teens and running late to be somewhere, making my way through peak hour crowds on the city streets, high heels, stockings, very mini skirt, fitting top with just enough cleavage to be teasing and decent all at once.....I saw this guy walking toward me, he in red jeans, open neck shirt (almost to the waist), and a certain look that always caught my eye, and directed straight at me with a very cheeky grin. Hmmm, well I was distracted by my running late to be where I was going but it crossed my mind he looked familiar, and just as quickly was replaced by the realisation he was checking me out head to foot, and continued to do so while we passed each other..and when I turned to look over my shoulder, found he was doing the same and actually looked like he might come back to speak to me. Silly girl that I was, I kept walking, a bit faster actually, and it was about half an hour later I realised why he looked familiar....he was one of my favourite singers in one of Oz's top rock bands at the time. Oh well, I kicked myself for aw3hile, but as he is now no longer on this earth, I figure perhaps someone was watching over me at that time and saving me a lot of future heartache which right then I had already had my fair share of. :p

hehe, always knew the midnight oil guy was a lech and a dom^^

LOL, I wish...now him I would have not been too distracted to realise, but then he also would have surprised me if he had looked at me with such lechery in his eyes. :catroar: (Was actually Marc Hunter from Dragon.)

I think he seems like a really nice guy. And I agree, he's gorgeous.

*smiles* Well, Killi, you ARE gorgeous. Cool deal with meeting Owen, I hope we get to read more about you two in the scandal rags soon! *chuckles*

[GEEK WARNING] The below won't mean a whole lot unless you are a total SF fan [/GEEK WARNING]

I've been the Director of Autographs for Dragon*Con (http://www.dragoncon.org) for the past 4 years, and an Autographs staff volunteer since 1997, and have met a slew of celebrities.... actors, actresses, authors, artists... and I STILL get all google-eyed and gushy sometimes! And sometimes, regular guests at the con will absolutely floor me.

Like when Kevin J. Anderson presented me with an autographed first ed copy of "House Harkonnen" a couple of years ago.

Or getting to meet Ron Glass (older folks might remember him as Detective Harris from Barney Miller, younger folks may recognize him as "Shepherd" from Firefly and Serentity). He is absolutely wonderful with his fans.

And OMG, last year I got to meet June Lockhart ("Ruth Martin" (Timmy's mom, you youngsters *lol*) from Lassie, "Mrs. Robinson" (Will's mom, you dorks!)from Lost In Space - the original TV series, not the recent movie remake!)!!! I was absolutely total school boy crush on her. She's still gorgeous!

And Sybil Danning... Queen of the "B's"... *looks up in the air and whistles innocently* I ain't gonna say nuffin but she's hot... and that her role as the Warden in Reform School Girls may not have been THAT big a stretch for her...

I'll have to show y'all the autograph collection! *GRIN*

I got Sky King's autograph when I was just a wee kid. AND, I met Michael Douglas before he was anybody but Kirk's son. He was filming a movie in my home town, back in 1970.

Now, I don't remember for sure, but I don't think either of those guys said a damn thing about my looks. But, they and I are all of the same gender, and hetros at that.

Killi, I think Owen was maybe making a move on you, in a nice guy sort of way. We blonde guys all seem to have a crush on red heads. Personally, I like to tie 'em naked to my bed and slowly count their freckles. :D

Maybe he was secretly thinking the same about you. :p

I have not seen a single one fo those movies he has acted in. Is this a great loss or to my disadvantage or something?
You should go see one or two. The Weding Crashers is great. Starsky and Hutch (the TV series) was before your time, so you wouldn't enjoy the movie quite as much, but it's still good.

He has a very wide range of acting skills...not just comedy.

And, someone of your age...you've never seen Zoolander?

Uh-oh... How did you resist looking at him and saying "Hammer Time!!" (or did you?)

:D :p

Well, I haven't enjoyed everything he's been in, but then I'm pretty picky. You should check out shanghai noon and around the world in 80 days, though. They are both Jackie Chan movies, but are comedy's not actions. They're pretty funny, too.
