It was kind of funny. I got off work this afternoon and wandered down to my wifes unit to wait for her. While I was standing there one of her R.N.'s came up and informed me that she had a tension headache, and that my wife had told her that I could help her with it.

I had her sit and stepped up behind her. I worked on her neck and shoulders for a while. I swear she was almost purring when she commented that this reminded her of a story she had read recently. I almost stopped what I was doing when I felt her shudder slightly as she sighed and commented that this deffinately reminded her of a story.

When I had finished what I was doing she stood and hugged me while thanking me for helping her. When she saw my wife she told her that my massage had not only helped but had reminded her of a story she had read a short called "Jade" and asked her if she wanted her to bring it in for her. My wife innocently told her friend that she had read it, which seemed to surprise her. She asked how my wife had found it and my wife replied that she hadn't needed to, I had written it and she had read it before it had even been posted.

Well I was informed that I had to send the R.N. and E=Mail with the web addresses of any other stories I had written.

How cool! I've always dreamed of meeting someone who's read a story of mine (without knowing me). That's gotta be an experience to remember - "Hey, I'm famous!"

I'm still rather in shock over it, although I do have to chuckle about it.

The idea that someone I know has actually read one of my stories and liked it is something new to me.

The idea that she was thinking about something I had written while I had my hands on her is incredible.

And then there is the idea that she is going to read the rest of my stories. What will she think when she sees that I am not that good of a writer?

How will she act the next time she sees me or my wife after reading these stories?

I've told a few people I work with about my stories and they have become fans as well. It's strange to have people I work with know what's going on in my dirty little mind, but at the same time pretty exciting. One of them told me she had no idea I was so kinky, to which I could only reply with a smile.

I suspect, Cat, that the next time you see that nurse, she's going to have a funny little smile on her face as well. And she may not be the only one.

I have had the idea of a story involving a similar scenario for months. If I ever get caught up I'm going to have fun with it (but I swear I'm not copying :D ). Very cool for you, Cat. :nana:

That would totally weird me out if it happened at work.

Otherwise, it's a pleasant little reminder of what a small world we live in. :)

It's nice to have fans. I'd be tickled to just get a piece of feedback or a new read. ;)

Everyone who works in my office has read my work.

I am the only person in my office ;)

I have shared my stuff with my best friend though. No one has found me by mistake on the site.
