I may have been right, but I can't prove it.

Back in August or September or so, I postulated that oil prices were pushed artificially high by oil companies to try and 'persuade' voters to vote a certain way .... hoping to anger them into placing blame on the D government. We're now past the election, the Rs did not prevail to the extent expected by or hoped by for some. Gas prices are now dropping fast and it could simply be due to the election being over, hence no reason to keep they high and annoy customers further.

Were jacked up oil and gasoline prices just a political gambit by big oil? I recently saw a chart of how much various oil companies pumped into the candidates and they were almost plain as day in support of my theory.

Of course I can't find the post and I'm not even sure it was on this site.

Yes, there was an overt attempt by big oil AND other corporations to interfere with the election by jacking up prices / profiteering.

AND, do you really think the timing of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was a coincidence either???

AND the timing of the OPEC + announcement that they were cutting production by 2 million barrels a day???

I DID start a thread pointing those ^ things out BEFORE oil and gas prices began coming down.

No surprise that the right wing traitors haven’t displayed the same level of outrage they did over non existent election interference.

SAD!!’!

You can always not buy gas. Not sure how that's gonna work out for most but hey, it's an option.
I'd get an electric car but they're expensive and I haven't had a car payment in years and I like that. Can't wait till the house is paid off. No car payment, no mortgage. Fuck man, easy street. That's probably when I'll die tho. Shit usually works out that way.
But yeah, dude gas prices and shit.

The perfect argument for the switch to renewables and a legitimate passenger rail system in the United States
