I Made It!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, Sven.

I got my license a year ago. Man, it felt great! The freedom... going wherever you want...
There's nothing like it. :)

*takes deep breath*

Bishonen... you're new here. Allow me to introduce you to the rules of Lit:

  1. Don't write stories about people under 18, and don't bother questioning this site's rules concerning this matter, as all you'll get from the rest of us is "follow the rules or find another site".
  2. Don't call me Sven.
  3. Don't feed the trolls (ie don't answer spam threads where people are just out to provoke; it will just encourage these clowns to go on posting).
  4. Don't call me Sven.
  5. Don't talk to amicus, he's everyone's favourite troll around here.
  6. Don't ever, ever, EVER call me Sven.

Oh, and thanks. Yes, it IS amazing. I still can't understand it. I keep saying to myself "I've got a driver's license", but the concept hasn't quite sunk in yet.

Congratulations

Now your troubles start.

You have to earn enough to buy a car.
You will find that running a car is more expensive than your ever thought.
You will find that it will need expensive repairs only when you are broke.
You will find that ALL the other drivers on the road are idiots.

Welcome to the club.

Og

PS. It is worth the financial pain of paying for the test. In years to come you will remember passing. You will forget the cost.

Bishonen: For your own safety, I'd refer to her as Svenska, not Sven. Sven is the Swedish equivalent of 'Guy' and is distinctly masculine.

Congratulations Svenska. See, I told you you'd be fine! Well done!

<pausing to think>
Alright, I've forgotten. Is Svenska allowable? Or Flicka?

:rose:
Congrats, btw.

Congratulations, svenska, welcome to the wonderful world of driving!

Now, kiss your money good-bye! heheh

Svenska: Now all you have to do is remember the most important rule of driving: if people don't like the way you drive, they should stay off the pavement.

I hate to be picky here Earl, but the traditional form is:

"If you don't like the way I drive, stay off the sidewalk!"

Way to go Flicka!!!

Now you've passed one of life's little challenges. Go forth with the same determination and conquer them all.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Didn't I say the exact same thing, only transposed into the 2nd person?
