I love...

believe it or not (you better do) I haven't got a single love-letter in my life. Having said that, i got two from my ex fiance but he was a real jerk - plus, i couldnt possibly read his handwriting. i always dated guys who were totally not into being romantic. still waiting for a nice one - love letter that is. :D

Halo :rose:

I do and I enjoy it. And I especially enjoy it when she enjoys it- that is the most important thing. :)

Yeah, I got some.

But, they are from my ex-fiancee, and well things turned out ugly in the end of our reltionship. So reading her love letters again would bring back sad memories, and not cheer me up.

And get this, she wasn't that romantic, and I like the romance.

It's been years since I got a love letter. But then, I have spent most of the last few years with my head up my ass. Go figure!

You still have the letters, even though it ended in heartbreak?

I would have thought you would have torn them up in a fit of rage, lol.

I recieved love letter many years ago and though the person is long out of my life I still have the letters. I have not read them for years now but I recall that when I read them last I came away with a very warm and charming memory of that time in my life.

Halo :rose:

I could write you one.. it might get a little confusing hen I keep spelling your name Wednesday though!

I'd saved every love letter I'd received since grade school, but when I got divorced, the ex tossed 'em all out--along with every photograph of me b/w the ages of 18-30, and my comic book collection, baseball card collection, and record collection.

I lost several thousand dollars' worth of property--which I desperately could have used at the time--but now I miss those letters and photos a helluva lot more than the other things.

Halo :rose:

I have a bundle from my last relationship. When I was managing bars I used to come home in the wee small hours of the morning and find notes and letters all over the place. She would leave them taped to the jug or to the microwave... I would find them on my computer monitor, or in the bathroom.

I used to write her letters in slow periods at work. That was hard when managing busy city bars, but it was worth every minute of it. it helped keep our relationship fresh and alive when we saw bugger all of each other...

Even though the relationship is over we still both have our memories through our love letters...

((Kiwi))

Leaving little notes used to be a favourite trick of mine, I used to leave them all over the place.

One in particular, I used to write in lipstick on the bathroom mirror, before I went home after the night before.

I think romance is a dying art.

Unfortunately I think you are right... I still have the romance but no one I can be romantic with... my ex loved roses... I planted rose gardens... I would love to be able to do that sort of thing again...:rose:

I used to write messages in lipstick on the bathroom mirror to my husband before I would go to work.
Now that I stay at home, it's him always leaving me little poems or love messages laying around the house.
I love it! Each one gets put into a little plastic box to go reminiscing through when we are old.

Honest?

I am too romantic for my own good. I am working on it. I tend to get caught up in my fantasies at times and I have to consciously evaluate what is real and what is not.

true, but I am getting better! :)

Foxy... I've said it before, you are an amazing lady... I don't go looking. It's a lesson I learned long ago... plus I am in no hurry... if it comes, it comes:rose:

Love letters straight from your heart

Love letters straight from your heart
bring us so near while apart

When I'm alone in the night
I dream of you and you hold me tight

I memorize every line
then I kiss the name that you sign

And darling then ... I read again ... right from the start
Love letters straight from your heart
