I have a 70 minute commute to work 4 days a week. It's all expressway for the most part and I love to drive. Even though 70 minutes seems like a long drive it is not bad at all in part because of those wonderful truck drivers who are so entertaining. I want to know what you want to see when I drive by and you are looking into my sunroof.
I also wanted to start this thread because truck drivers have saved me from getting a speeding ticket many times. I'll be driving along at 75 miles an hour (in a 65 MPH zone, waiting for my horney cop to stop and frisk me into submission) and they help me in a number of ways. Sometimes they will tap their brake lights to signal me, or they will put a turn signal on depending on which side of the road the highway patrol car is on. If there is a line of trucks, one will pull out in the left lane so I will have to slow down, and many times there is a state trooper in the median who would have gotten me (maybe I don't want you to save me!) for speeding.
They also play some games. One will get in the left lane and drive at 60 MPH slowly moving along side a row of trucks in the right lane. They wave and blast their horns. It is a definite turn on for me (I know I am sick!) when one of them drives behind me and I see this huge truck in my rear view mirror. My knees get weak when this happens.
When I drive by I love to see your strong arms holding the wheel, a tatoo is good also, and I love those white t-shirts on those wide shoulders! One guy had a sign in his window that said "Spank Me", I nearly drove off the road.
I love you truckers!
