I sent the author some feedback and she actually responded!

This author claims that her story is based on what actually happened to her years ago and that she has written the sequel, which will be posted soon. I don't know if I buy that it really happened but the story is hot whether real or fabricated.

Look Belle,

Half the writers of stories on Lit claim their stories are actual events. Are they? Most likely not. Even if they are based on actual events, the way they remember them is a different thing. Then again, when their faulty rememberance makes it to paper you end up with a third version.
