Laurel said:We went down to the beach. We could see two of the "legal" firework displays - one on the pier to the north, the other at the fairground to the south - plus countless people lighting everything from sparklers to "hecho en Mexico" beauties that shot 50 feet in the air. At times, you couldn't see the lights through the sulfur clouds. After the pier display ended, some guy in one of the apartments on the beach came out on his patio and played the national anthem on his horn. Everyone cheered.
It rocked.
Laurel said:Popsicles? Yum.
Weevil said:Wouldn't know.

StrawberryPez said:YAY! Because of Rhys, I got to see some fireworks today! I stayed home, I had no one to go see fireworks with. Oh well. There's always next year.
