I just did a search for "tan lines" and I just found 26 stories (and I am not sure if they all deal with tan lines or just with suntan).

Anyway, maybe this will inspire someone to a story about tan lines.

I mean, just think about the erotic of tan lines. If you see a girl with tan lines, you know that she was laying on the beach for quite some time. Everybody could see her in her bikini ... but not without it. If you see her tan lines, you see more of her, then most of the other people .....

O.k. this is no real story idea, but maybe someone has one ... what about this: a guy mets a girl and they talk about the weather and all that stuff. The girl says that she was in the sun all day long. To prove it, she pulls her bikini pants a little bit down to show a little bit of her white butt .... and now the guy trys to talk her into showing more ...

A friend 'inadvertently' saw my tan line the other day. I was wearing a very low cut top, so low that it let a bit of the tan line on my breasts show. His reaction was "I never usually find a tan line erotic, but that is amazing."

In my last story I make mention to viewing my wife and her white skin tan lines. Still waiting on approval.

Here is the thing I like details. And that can be an erotic one. But then it is primarily done for the story. You can only disect the look of a tan line for so long then boredom sets in for the reader. The best I think is to keep mentioning the contrast of the tan line. Then stringing the reader into why the pubic area was so visable.

I go to Hedo II often through out the year I don't have a tan line but the Novice person does. That is a bonner waiting to happen with no excuses necessary.
As I view the darkend skin around a creamy white pale skin. Looking like a cartoon in black and white.I see the areas which this person would normally not expose. Her nipples stand out as if though they were painted dots in the middle of her bright white breasts. Trimmed in a triangle patch over each. The white area on her ass is visably red from suburn where her tanned skin is darkened nicely. The line is a tease of an invisibe swim suit never needing adjustment. I feel like Superman just Perverted Man

I wouldn't totally focus on the tan lines. But it could be like: the story starts with the tan lines.

I mean, a guy sees some tan lines on a hot babe and somehow, they start to talk about it. After some talking, she shows him a little bit more (but still not everything) - finally, he talks her into doing a striptease for him ...
