I love popcorn, specially when it's seasoned. You?

I like to generously coat my popcorn in chili powder, cayenne, acidito, and cheese seasoning. I learned a trick, you spray it with non-stick cooking oil, lightly of course, after you pop it, then the seasonings will stick with no added gook. I prefer mine to be butterfree and oilfree. No, not Butterfree the pokemon, without butter. If I had a pokemon, it'd be Mew Two.

Hmhh never tried spicy popcorn might have too. I love carmel popcorn.

I got sick of the microwave crap and started popping it the real way.

I like mine with parmesan cheese and butter.

I like to add some parmesan or something, but my dog likes parmesan best, and doesn't handle cayenne so well.

*geeking out for a moment*

I wonder if it would be easier to season it as it pops by doing your own microwave popcorn bags? If you sprayed the kernals with the pam, then shook up the bag with the seasonings in it then popped it, I mean?

I like mine just butter and salt. Although homemade caramel corn and chocolate popcorn are my favorites when i'm uh...ya know. Craving chocolate covered crunchy salty things.

That does work. I knew an officer in the Navy who always cooked it this way and shared with the rest of us at work. It is just as tasty as air popped, and you can put what you want on it.

I hadn't thought of doing that for a long time. Now I need to buy some paper bags! Thanks Nora!

lots of butter and salt.

and crack. can't forget the crack.

yw, sweetums. Don't forget to space your staples more than 2 inches, though. I won't be responsible for a blown up nukebox! *g*

LOL! If I remember correctly, all she did was fold the top over a few times and it stayed shut pretty well. No need for staples. :D

I guess none of you saw the USA Today front page report about Microwave popcorn.

The people who manufacture it inhale the butter (and/or Butter-like) coating of it. Then they get a bunch of health problems.

The headling for the continuation of the article, the part on the inside of the paper was "Peeling Skin was first health tip-off"

I like the jalapeno popcorn or cheddar cheese. I've tried the salt and vinegar one but it's just too strong for my tastes.

I bought one of those whirly pops for the stove. It has a hand crank. It makes yummy popcorn.
