i was surfing a bit....ran across this picture.....and just....omg....even seeing a picture of a newborn baby.....just floods with me with emotion.....memories of the lil miracle when she was just a teeny tiny five pounder....mmmmm her lil newborn cry......the stretching......legs kicking......her lil mouth opening like a lil bird 'cause she was hungry....

that newborn stage goes by so damn fast....mannnnn....

i know Raw was recently blessed with another baby....and a few of you have recently become grandparents....

tell us about your babies....or talk about when your babies were newborn....i just....love newborns....:)

Yep I love em too, just so long as they aren't mine!

Been there (twice) and am sooo over it its not funny.

There isn't anything like the smell and touch of a newborns cheek against yours.

To feel his tiny heartbeat against yours as he rest against you.

Holding those perfect delicate fingers. Stroking the soft, wispy hair.

JL:kiss:

oh ginny.. that's a beautiful picture :) i love babies too.. how small and tiny they are.. you can cuddle them without them saying.. OH MOM... and their skin is so soft.. and they smell soo good.. once my kids got older.. i used to go to the baby section and smell the baby powder and lotions.. lol.. actually i still do when i need a "fix"

Oh well can't find it at the moment!

There is a lovely pic of NZWookie and his new son on the Aussie and Kiwi thread... It is a little buried now though!

I have added it to this post for you to coo over...

:)

Oh men with babies there is just something about it that makes you sigh.

And newborns they astound me. I was with my girlfriend when she had her son. 53 hours of labor and a myriad of problems but when that little boy emerged from her whole and alive...well that is the moment I cling to when the world seems overwhelming.

As much as I don't dig some of her work, Anne Geddes has a way with photographing newborns.

Love them little things. God, but the responsibility. And my DNA.

Dad says $100,000.00 to his first grandkid. Asshole.
